Gather’s mission: values and goals

Any society goes through a process of change, and the impetus for it is serious military, political and economic events. For Ukraine, the military actions of the aggressor in 2022 became an incentive to revise its values, forcing citizens, authorities and businesses to concentrate their efforts to preserve the independence and integrity of the state.

Charity became a separate area of rescue. Many people were forced to flee the war and start their lives from scratch, and the military, medics and all those involved in evacuation operations needed no less help.

Gather was among the foundations that were established at the beginning of the war and began to help those in need in a variety of ways:
-purchasing and delivering food;
-supplying medicines;
-providing military equipment and gear;
-financial support for medical institutions and more;
-providing refugees with clothing and other items;
-support for schools in frontline regions;
-implementing initiatives that bring positive changes to society.

Help is needed every day, and anyone can provide it – it does not require extraordinary efforts or large financial investments (although we are always happy to have large benefactors!). The main thing is to understand that even a small contribution brings victory closer and saves lives.

Gather’s mission and values and their relevance in wartime

Everyone has an inner need to help people in need, and it is this need that has become a factor that unites our team members. Finding themselves in a situation where unity and mutual assistance can save lives, the initiators of the Gather charity fund decided to involve everyone who wanted to contribute to the victory and provide support to people in difficult situations.

Gather’s mission is to continuously expand support and reach out to all categories of people and organisations that have been affected by the war in one way or another. The Foundation has several areas of activity that are equally important, so you can join the volunteers or make donations depending on your personal wishes and life circumstances.

At the initial stage, we cooperated mainly with caring Ukrainians, entrepreneurs and national enterprises. However, as we attracted more benefactors from abroad, we expanded our scope of activities. Now every person or organisation, without any country ties, can contribute to the restoration of Ukraine, help the Armed Forces, refugees, hospitals, schools, etc.

Who can join the Gather project?

The charity welcomes everyone who wants to help. Any contribution makes a difference and helps to improve the situation, even if it seems insignificant to you. We are happy to accept any help, from donations of food, medicines, money transfers, clothes, etc. to organising the transport of charitable goods, legal advice and providing various services.

To join the Gather team, you need to
-share our goals and values;
-be willing to help free of charge and anonymously;
-Understand the importance of keeping financial records of the funds used for charitable purposes;
-be in touch and provide support when needed, if you are able to do so;
-Collaborate with other participants to achieve the best possible result.

We never stop and strive to ensure that the military with our support effectively perform combat missions, residents of dangerous areas can evacuate without hindrance, IDPs can rebuild their lives in new locations, and war victims can successfully restore their health (both moral and psychological).
